Sport and physical education are a key part of life at Kingsley; each child is encouraged to achieve their personal best. We recognise that mental and physical fitness go hand in-hand to develop wellbeing and academic potential.
We have excellent sporting facilities and dedicated, enthusiastic staff. Students are encouraged to take full advantage of the wide range of sports and activities on offer. We are very proud of our young athletes, who compete at all levels, including in national competitions across a range of sports, such as equestrian, skiing, football, netball, and more.
We offer an extensive and competitive fixture list across a range of sports, playing against other independent and local schools. As a member of the ISA, our students also have access to high-level sporting opportunities, enabling them to compete at regional and national levels.
We believe that taking part in sport fosters a healthy sense of competition, but also cooperation, as students support their houses or teams in the fixtures and events that take place throughout the year.
Facilities
Our sporting facilities rank among the finest in the country. The Fitness Suite is a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest fitness technology to support students’ physical and wellbeing needs.
We are fortunate to have a 17-acre multi-use sports field, providing ample space for our students to take part in a wide range of activities, including track and field, football, netball, tennis, cricket, rounders, and other outdoor sports.
Sports Fields
It’s a very team-like and friendly environment, I’ve made friends across year groups and we all enjoy it, even if people aren’t as sporty as others, they all enjoy the lessons and look forward to them.

Talented Athlete Programme
Our Talented Athlete Programme aims to support our top performers to achieve their absolute best. The programme is designed to encourage sporting excellence by providing access to regular one-to-one sports mentorship, termly workshops, sports trips, academic and scholarship support, and strength and conditioning training.
We understand the pressures of trying to train, compete and balance academic studies. The Talented Athlete Programme provides the stretch and challenge for students to achieve their sporting goals, while also providing tailored academic support.
The talented athlete programme is targeting our top sports performers in school, our aim is to help support them, so they can achieve the best they can be within their sport, but also to target their academic studies as well, so they are able to achieve well in both areas.

Warwick Schools Foundation
As part of Warwick Schools Foundation, our students benefit from additional world-class facilities. This includes access to Warwick and King’s High School’s sports pitches, where impressive grounds host a wide range of sports and competitions; enhancing their sporting experience further.
The sport here is amazing, the teachers are so encouraging; they help you and encourage you to try new things. The netball courts are great for me, they open up so many opportunities for matches, which is amazing.
